At a glance

  • Sign in: Use your email + password (or SSO if enabled). [Confirm in product]
  • Reset password: Use “Forgot password” from the sign-in screen.
  • Security tip: Use a password manager + enable SSO if your org supports it.

Overview

Fluent accounts are tied to an email address. Depending on your organization, you may sign in with an email/password or with a single sign-on provider (SSO). [Confirm in product]

Before you start

  • You’ll need access to the email inbox used for your Fluent account.
  • If you’re joining a workspace by invite, use the same email address that received the invite.

How it works

Email + password

Most workspaces allow signing in with email and password. Passwords are not shared across users.

Single sign-on (SSO) [Confirm in product]

Some organizations may enforce SSO (Google/Microsoft/Okta, etc.). If SSO is enabled and enforced, you won’t be able to use a password for that workspace.

Session timeouts [Confirm in product]

Fluent may sign you out after a period of inactivity or when your browser session expires.

How to sign in

  1. Go to the Fluent sign-in page.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Choose one:
    • Continue with password (if available), then enter your password.
    • Continue with SSO (if available), then complete your provider login.
  4. If you belong to multiple workspaces, select the workspace you want to open. [Confirm in product]

How to reset your password

  1. From the sign-in page, select Forgot password.
  2. Enter your email and submit.
  3. Check your email for a reset link.
  4. Set a new password and sign in.

Notes

  • Reset links expire after a short time. If it expires, request a new one.
  • If you don’t see the email, check spam/junk and any company quarantines.

How to change your password (when signed in)

[Confirm in product: location of change-password UI]

Typical flow:

  1. Open User profile settings.
  2. Find Password.
  3. Enter your current password and your new password.
  4. Save.

Troubleshooting

I didn’t get the reset email

  • Confirm you typed the correct email address.
  • Check spam/junk and any corporate email quarantine.
  • Try again after a few minutes.
  • If your org uses SSO, you may need to reset your password with the SSO provider instead.

”Invalid email or password”

  • Verify you’re using the right email for the workspace.
  • Try resetting your password.
  • If SSO is required, use Continue with SSO.

I think my account is compromised

  • Reset your password immediately.
  • Notify your workspace admin.
  • Contact support if you see unexpected activity. [Confirm audit/access log behavior]
